Removing and installing/replacing left/right
rear seat backrest (through-loading)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove backrest side section
•
If necessary, remove rear seat (only with seat heating
optional extra)
Left backrest:
•
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ
.
•
With automatic centre belt optional extra only:
Lay belt (2) around centre armrest
•
Fold backrest forwards slightly (3)
•
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount (4)
Right backrest:
•
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ
.
•
Fold backrest forwards slightly (2)
•
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of centre mount (3)
