Removing and installing front propeller shaft
(N52K, M57T2)
Important!
Do not move vehicle with drive power once propeller shaft has
been removed.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove underbody protection
•
Remove reinforcement plate
Release screws.
Installation:
Replace screws and nuts.
Slide propeller shaft towards rear and remove flexible disc with
centering flange.
Tightening torque 26 11 9AZ
.
Installation:
Slide propeller shaft fully towards rear.
Cup seal (1) must snap audibly into place and rest entirely on
dust guard (2).
