Removing and installing/replacing drive for
Soft Close Automatic on rear lid (soft closure
aid)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
E70:
•
Remove trim for rear lid lower section
E71:
•
Remove loading sill cover
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and feed out bracket (3).
Tightening torque 51 24 5AZ
.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 24 4AZ
.
Unfasten cable tie (2).
Remove soft closure aid (3) from bracket (4).
Installation:
Adjust rear lid lock.
