Removing and installing side airbag (front
seat)
Warning!
Observe safety regulations for handling airbag modules and
pyrotechnical seat belt pretensioners.
Incorrect handling can cause airbags to trigger, resulting in
serious injuries.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Partially detach backrest cover
Remove cover (1).
Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Release screws.
Installation:
Replace screws.
Tightening torques 72 12 06AZ
