automatically reports a service requirement to the BMW Service Partner. The option of manually activating the
BMW TeleService Call is still available.
This is useful, when for example a driver would like to arrange a special service date for a tyre change.
The following is new:
The driver can now get into direct contact with the BMW Breakdown Service and initiate a BMW TeleService
Diagnosis.
In the process in addition to the Based Service data (CBS), any existing fault messages in the vehicle are
transmitted.
The specialist from the BMW Breakdown Service thus has more possibility to determine the cause of a fault and
to initiate appropriate measures to rectify it.
The specialist can then decide whether the operability of the vehicle can be restored by BMW TeleService
remotely or other measures are required.
