Removing and installing/replacing air-mass
sensor (N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DME control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove intake filter upper section, refer to Changing intake
filter element
Release screws.
Pull air-mass flow sensor (1) out of upper section of intake filter
housing.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 13 71 3AZ
Note:
Check stored fault messages.
Now clear the fault memory.
