Removing and installing/replacing control
unit of electronic immobilizer
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove trim panel for pedal assembly
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Note:
Secure control unit of electronic immobilizer (3) against falling
out.
Release screws (2) and remove control unit of electronic
immobilizer (3).
Replacement:
Important!
Check hardware version of old control unit.
