Replacing air cleaner element (M57TU,
M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove acoustic cover
•
E65 only: Remove heater bulkhead
•
E83 only: Remove intake duct
•
E90/E91 only: Remove microfilter housing lower section
Detach air intake hose (1) towards front.
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove cover (3) in direction of arrow.
Release screws (1).
Open oil cap (3).
Remove air filter cover (2).
Remove air filter element (1) (replace if necessary).
Installation:
Insert air filter element (1) with support (2) downwards into
fixture (3).
