Removing and installing/replacing left or right
rear light (on rear lid) (from 09/2006)
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove panel for rear lid
Release nut (1), gripping the threaded pin (2) with a suitable tool
in so doing. Tightening torque 63 21 1AZ
.
Feed out rear light (3) in direction of arrow and remove in
outward direction from rear lid (4).
Disconnect plug connection (5).
Remove socket housing.
Installation:
Make sure sealing washer is fitted on threaded pin (2) between
rear light (3) and rear lid (4)
Make sure sealing frame for rear light is correctly seated on rear
light (3)
