Removing and installing/replacing front
stabilizer
Warning!
Danger to life!
Secure engine in installation position to prevent it from falling
down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove both stabilizer links from stabilizer
•
Lower front axle support
Release screws (1).
Remove both retaining brackets (2) and rubber mount (3).
Remove stabilizer sideways through wheel arch.
Installation:
Check both rubber mounts (3) for damage, replace if necessary.
Keep retaining bracket (2), rubber mount (3) and stabilizer clean
and free from oil and grease.
Tightening torque 31 35 1AZ
.
After installation:
•
Carry out steering angle sensor adjustment
