Adjusting valve clearance (S54)
Special tools required:
•
11 3 160
•
11 4 400
•
11 5 100
Remove cylinder head.
Remove fan clutch with fan impeller and fan cowl.
Remove spark plugs.
Note:
Fit special tool 11 5 100 on four screws on vibration damper
and crank engine.
With cams pointing upwards, measure valve clearance with
special tool 11 3 160 .
Note down measured values.
Compare measured valve clearance with prespecified ventil
clearance.
