Removing and installing/replacing control
unit for electric fuel pump (S54)
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove battery
•
Remove battery positive terminal
•
Remove holder for battery positive terminal
Replacement:
-
Carry out programming/coding
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Loosen nut (2).
Release nut (3) and remove control unit.
Installation:
Tightening torque 16 14 4AZ
