Z Series E85 M roadst (S54) ROADST
Unclip plugs (1) for monitor sensors and exhaust temperature
sensor from holders and detach.
Release cables for monitor sensors from heat shield.
Release screw connections between centre muffler and rear
mufflers.
Installation:
Check sealing rings, replace if necessary.
Replace self-locking nuts.
Coat thread with copper paste -CRC-, refer to BMW Parts
Service.
Lower centre muffler and catalytic exhaust gas converter in
downward direction.
Release screw connections between catalytic exhaust gas
converter (1) and centre muffler (2).
Installation:
Replace seals.
Coat thread with copper paste -CRC-, refer to BMW Parts Service.
Release centre muffler (2) from catalytic converter (1).
Tightening torque 18 32 3AZ
.
Installation:
Align tailpipes of both rear mufflers to rear apron.
