Removing and installing complete convertible
top
Special tools required:
•
00 9 318
•
00 9 323

54 3 200
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove convertible top compartment base
•
Release side trim panel upper section at rear on B-pillar
•
If necessary, unclip hardtop contact jack
Important!
Risk of damage!

Cover vehicle rear end
-
Cover rollover bar in belt outlet area
-
Make sure during convertible top movements that the
roofliner is not suspended from open trim panel parts
Risk of contamination!

Clean and tape off convertible top compartment.
Close convertible top.
Release hexagon screws (1) on convertible top strip at rear all
round.
Note:
Carry out tasks from luggage compartment.
