Removing and installing instrument panel
trim
Note:
Observe the following instructions to facilitate removal of the
instrument panel trim:
•
Move seats back completely and lower
•
Open convertible top
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove center console
•
Remove trim for roof pillar, front left and right
•
Remove finisher on panel for instrument panel, right
•
Remove control panel for heater - A/C system
•
If necessary, remove Central Information Display
•
Remove fixture for steering column stalks
•
Remove instrument cluster
•
Remove light switch unit
•
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar, left
•
Remove airbag module for driver's knee protection
•
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar, right
•
Remove airbag module on passenger side
Release screw (1) on support tube (2).
