Replacing convertible top lock (stowage lock)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Remove panel for storage box

Unfasten screws.

Installation:

- 

Install lock loose.

- 

Move lock in elongated holes in direction of convertible top.

- 

Stow convertible top until it engages exactly.

- 

Pull lock approx. 2 mm towards front and tighten down

screws.

Tightening torque: 54 31 1AZ

.

- 

Carry out function check, listening out for grinding noises.
