Removing and installing fuel tank
Special tools required:

Important!
After installing fuel tank (before initial engine starting):
•
Check resistance between metal filler bowl and wheel
hub.
Measured value approx. 0.6
Ω
.
•
Fill fuel tank with min. 5 l fuel.
After installation:
Carry out wheel alignment check.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Draw off fuel from fuel tank.
Remove handbrake Bowden cables.
Remove right wheel arch cover.
Remove right wheel arch lip.
Remove tank cap with cover.
Disconnect feed line (1) and connector (2) from fuel filter.
Unclip both lines from tank.
Note:
To disconnect feed line, press ring (3) in direction of fuel filter and
pull out feed line.
