Z Series E85 Z4 3.0i (M54) ROADST
Mount transmission (1) with special tool 23 0 170 in assembly
stand 00 1 450 .
Remove sealing cap (1) using a screwdriver (2).
Important!
Service opening must not be damaged. Burr can cause the
sealing cap to leak.
Installation:
Replace sealing cap.
Release fitting screw (1).
Tightening torque 23 31 3AZ
.
Installation:
Replace fitting screw.
Remove screws (1) and (2).
Tightening torque 23 41 1/7AZ .
Unlock and detach hydraulic lines (3).
Pull out shift actuator (4)
Installation:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Apply Loctite 574 sealing compound to sealing faces.
