Removing And Installing Automatic Transmission for Z Series E85 Z4 30i (M54) ROADST
Unscrew screw.
Withdraw hydraulic lines (1 and 2) from transmission housing.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings on lines.
Lift out cover (behind exhaust manifold).
Release retaining screws of torque converter:

Rotate engine until screw appears in window
-
Release screw with special tool 24 1 110
-
Continue rotating engine until further screws appear in
window
-
Release screws with special tool 24 1 110
Tightening torque, 24 40 1AZ .
Installation:
Only use original bolts.
