Z Series E85 Z4 3.0i (M54) ROADST
Slacken nut (1).
Remove shift lever (2).
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 51 1AZ.
Unfasten screws and remove position switch from the manual shift
valve shaft.
Installation:
Pay attention to locating pin and cable routing.
Remove radial seal with special tool 24 5 260 from transmission
housing.
Installation:
Fit special tool 24 5 490 to the manual shift valve shaft.
Coat sealing lip of new radial seal (1) with transmission oil.
Slide radial seal onto manual shift valve shaft.
