Replacing front left or right wheel arch
Read contents of Body, General.
For stripping and rigging operations, refer to texts on KSD
CD (FR number 41 14 020).
Use only approved spot-welding apparatus for repairs.
Place vehicle on straightening bench.
Following new body parts are required (refer to EPC):
-
(1) Wheel arch, front
-
(2) Support, wheel arch
Open weld joints in areas (1).
Installation:
Adjust wheel arch support to fit and also weld in areas (2).
Open weld joints in areas (1).
Installation:
Adjust new part to fit with straightening attachment or universal
mount.
