Topping up/extracting fluid, checking fluid
level
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Follow repair instructions for hydraulic system.
•
Remove convertible top
•
Convertible top placed on special tool.
•
Remove acoustic insulation of hydraulic unit.
Checking fluid level:
•
Close convertible top
•
Position hydraulic unit vertically.
•
Fluid level must be within the markings.

Topping up fluid:
•
Open oil filler plug.
Tightening torque: 54 34 5AZ
.
•
Hold hydraulic unit vertically and pour in required amount of
fluid from a fluid bottle.
•
Check fluid level from time to time.
Extract fluid:
•
Open oil filler plug.
Tightening torque: 54 34 5AZ
.
•
Hold hydraulic unit on its head over a tray and allow oil to flow
out.
