Replacing battery negative lead
Warning!
Observe safety instructions for handling vehicle battery.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel
Unfasten clip (1).
Raise trim panels (2 and 3).
Release nut (1) on battery negative terminal.
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ
.
Detach battery negative lead in upward direction.
Release nut (2) and remove cable.
Tightening torque 61 12 5AZ
.
