Fibre-optic cable protective cap
E60, E65, E66 and E85
Situation:
Fibre-optic cables are often separated during repairs or for painting work. It is therefore
essential for the light-sensitive contact surfaces to be protected. Adhesive tape is often
used to this end, but it leaves residue and can greatly affect the function of the fibre-optic
cable. The fibre-optic cable protective cap can be used on both sides. The fibre-optic cable
connection is then protected on both the cable and the equipment side.
Procedure:
