Removing and installing radiator (M54, N46,
S54)
Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
Important!
Wear protective gloves and goggles.
Note:
Follow instructions for working on cooling system.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove radiator cover.
•
Remove fan cowl.
•
Drain coolant.
•
If fitted:
Remove heat exchanger for automatic transmission fluid.
•
M54, N52, N46 only: Remove coolant expansion tank.
•
Unlock coolant hoses and detach.
