Z Series E85 Z4 3.0i (N52) ROADST
For seat heating optional extra only:
Disconnect plug connection from cable (1) under seat.
Feed cable out of cable holder (2) and behind seat
cover/padding (3).
Detaching cover and padding:
•
If necessary, mark retainer positions
•
Release all retainers in marked area
•
Remove cover (1) from padding
•
Remove remaining retainers from cover and padding
Installation:
Insert new retainers with special tool 52 0 050 . In so doing,
enclose foamed thread in padding and trim thread of cover.
When replacing cover only:
Pull trim threads (1) out of backrest cover.
Installation:
Push trim threads (1) into new backrest cover. If necessary, cut
mounting for trim threads.
Release screws (1) on inside of backrest cover.
Remove belt guide (2).
