Z Series E85 Z4 3.0i (N52) ROADST
If hydraulic components are to be stored for an extended period,
seal off bores on hydraulic unit and hose connections for hydraulic
cylinder.
Installation:
Always fit new banjo bolts (1) and seals (2 and 3) (sourcing
reference: BMW Parts Service).
1 = Banjo bolt
3 = Seal, middle / bottom
2 = Seal, top
4 = Line connection
The installation position of the hydraulic hoses (4) is not
prespecified.
Release emergency release screws.
Remove emergency release mechanism.
Important!
If line connections on the hydraulic unit or the hydraulic lines
remain open for an extended period (e.g. storage, waiting
time), they must be protected against the ingress of moisture.
