Replacing wiring harness for heated rear
window

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Remove convertible top

Disconnect plug connection (4).

Feed out cable loom (2) in direction of arrow out of pocket (1).

Release screws (3) and open cable holders (approx. 10 x)
along aluminum rail.

Feed out and remove wiring harness for heated rear window.

Warning!

Risk of trapping in the following work step (close convertible
top).

Mechanical convertible top only:

Cut open cable tie (1).

Release screw (2) and feed out microswitch (3) in direction of
arrow.

To simplify this operation, move convertible top (4) into "Close"
position slightly.

Installation:

Replace cable ties.

Align microswitch.
