Z Series E85 Z4 3.0Si (N52) ROADST
Press locking tab (1) in direction of arrow and pull contact
carrier (2) out of housing.
Press locking tabs and remove housing (1) from bracket.
Press locking tabs (2) and remove cover (3).
Release plug locks and remove plugs (1).
Remove grommet (2) with wiring harness from housing.
Installation:
Make sure that grommet is correctly seated in housing
(watertightness).
Work step
Note:
Unlock plug connections on control sensors and disconnect
Unlock plug on alternator and disconnect
Unlock plug connection on knock sensors and disconnect
Unlock plug on crankshaft sensor and disconnect
Unlock plug on starter motor and disconnect
Unlock plug on air mass sensor and disconnect
Remove reinforcement plate
Unlock plug connections on monitor sensors and disconnect
Unlock plug on oil condition sensor and disconnect
