Z Series E85 Z4 3.0Si (N52) ROADST
Remove propeller shaft from transmission and center mount.
Important!
Do not let propeller shaft fall into joints.
Joints and rubber sleeve on constant-velocity joint may be
damaged.
Important!
Relieve tension on clutch slave cylinder slowly when
removing; otherwise air will be drawn in through sealing
sleeve.
Release nuts and remove clutch slave cylinder. Pressure line
remains connected.
Tightening torque: 21 52 5AZ
.
Detach plug (1) from reverse gear switch.
Release cable from retainers.
Remove shift arm:

Detach fastener (1) towards rear.

Press out pins towards left (catch washers (3)).

Remove selector rod (2).
Installation: Grease selector rod (2). Observe installation
position of disks (3).

Detach retainers from shift arm and pull out with bearing pin.
Installation: Grease bearing pin.

Remove shift arm towards top.
