Z Series E85 Z4 3.0Si (N52) ROADST
Disconnect handbrake Bowden cables from expander lock.
Disengage handbrake Bowden cables (2) from fixture (1).
Installation:
Make sure handbrake Bowden cables (2) are correctly seated in
assembly pan.
Disconnect plug connection for pulse generator on both sides.
Disconnect plug connection for right brake pad wear sensor.
Remove bearing block for trailing arm from body.
Pass brake caliper through between trailing arm and
upper control arm and tie up.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
If necessary, disconnect plug connection (2) on ride-height
sensor and expose lead up to penetration to luggage
compartment.
Warning!
Danger of injury!
Failure to comply with the following instructions may result
in the vehicle slipping off the lifting platform and critically
injuring other persons.
When supporting components, make sure that
•
the vehicle can no longer be raised or lowered
•
the vehicle does not lift off the locating plates on the
lifting platform
