Removing and installing/replacing recessed
handle/lock cylinder trim on rear lid

Grip recess plate:

Note:

Shown with view of fitted recessed handle from inside of rear lid.

Release screws in area (1).

Remove recessed handle (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Following parts of recessed handle (2) must not be damaged or
missing:

Retaining hooks

(4)

Catch

Lock cylinder trim:

Note:

Shown with view of fitted lock cylinder trim from inside of rear lid.

Release screws in area (1).

Remove trim (2).

Version with emergency release:

Disengage handle and Bowden cable (3).
