Replacing both rubber straps
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove trim on convertible top catch
•
Remove convertible top compartment base
Work on right side of convertible top is the same as that shown for
the left side.
Open trunk lid (1).
Partially open convertible top (2).
Rear screw fastening points (3) for rubber straps on convertible
top bow.
Front screw fastening points (4) for rubber straps on convertible
top bow.
Rear screw fastening points:
Release screws (1) from tensioning strap.
Secure rubber strap (2) to tensioning strap (1) with new screws.
Installation:
New screws are longer and included in the spare part delivery
specification.
