Replacing battery positive lead
Warning!
Observe safety instructions for handling vehicle battery.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel
•
Disconnect negative battery cable
•
Remove battery
Release nuts (2) on battery positive lead (1).
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ
.
Disconnect plug connection (5).
Remove fuse box (4) in direction of arrow.
Remove cover (3) from fuse box (4).
Release nut (1) and remove cable from fuse box (2).
Tightening torque 61 21 3AZ
.
Release nuts (3) and remove cable with fuse.
Tightening torque 61 21 3AZ
.
