Replacing knock sensor(s) (S54)
Read out fault memory of DME control unit. Switch off ignition.
Remove intake air manifold.
Release nuts and place idle-speed control valve (1) to one side.
Unlock plug and detach from knock sensor.
Release knock sensor screw connection on engine block.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 12 14 2AZ .
Remove knock sensor.
