Removing and installing/replacing steering
angle sensor (S54)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove steering column
Cut open cable tie.
Unclip connecting cable (1).
Detach positioning lug (1) and bushing (2).
Installation:
Replace bushing.
Remove Seeger circlip ring (1).
Press down locking hook (2) and detach steering angle
sensor (3).
Installation:
Replace Seeger circlip ring.
