Replacing roof outer skin

Special tools required:

•

51 3 270

Important!

Instructions for window cementing are an essential part of
these repair instructions and must be followed without fail.

Cover roof frame on both sides of vehicle with protective
covers.

Note:

Removal is carried out with handles for cutting wire 51 3 270 .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Remove roofliner

•

Remove rubber frame for windscreen

Prerequisite:

Rear lid must be correctly adjusted; if necessary, adjust rear lid.

For ideal adjustment, refer to Body gap dimensions.

Following new body parts are required (refer to Electronic Parts
Catalogue ETK):

- 

(1) Roof outer skin, slide/tilt sunroof

- 

(2) Spacer (8 x; not shown)
