Replacing bulb for left (or right) front turn
indicator

Warning!

Version with xenon headlights: Danger to life due to high
voltage! Therefore, before removing, disconnect all
components from the power supply (lighting system and
ignition off).

Work on the entire xenon lighting system (control unit, ignition
unit with bulb) may only be carried out by specialist personnel.

Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights).

Note:

Front wheel removed for purposes of clarity.

Unlock fasteners (1) by turning counterclockwise through 180

°

and fold up cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Lift locking bracket (1) out of mounts (2) and fold down in
direction of arrow.

Feed out housing cover (3) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation:

Ensure correctly seating of seal in housing cover (3) and of
housing cover (3) in relation to headlight housing.

Note:

The front turn signal lamps has 2 bulbs.

Bulb holder (1): outer side of vehicle

Bulb holder (2): inner side of vehicle

Turn bulb holder (1) or bulb holder (2) with a suitable tool
approx. 30

°

 counterclockwise and feed out of headlight.
