Removing and installing complete exhaust
system (N52)
Special tools required:

Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
Important!
Removal of the exhaust system must be carried out with the
assistance of a second person.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove left tension strut on rear axle
•
Remove reinforcement plate from rear axle
Note:
The reinforcement plate is connected via rubber mounts to the
exhaust system and can remain on the exhaust system during
removal.
