Z Series E86 Z4 3.0Si (N52) COUPE
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery
•
Remove complete exhaust system
•
Remove underbody protection
•
Remove reinforcement plate
•
Remove heat shields
•
Support engine with hydraulic lifter
Unfasten screws.
Tightening torque: 23 00 1AZ
.
Supporting transmission:
Support with special tools 23 4 050 , 23 0 132 , 00 2 030 .
Secure transmission with tensioning strap (1).
Tasks are described in Transmission bracket.
After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
Unscrew nuts (1).
Tightening torque: 22 32 3AZ
.
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 23 32 4AZ
.
Remove cross member.
