Replacing shift rod
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear reinforcement plate
•
Remove exhaust system from exhaust manifold and support
•
Remove middle heat shield
Detach locking clip.
Pull shift rod (1) out of shift rod joint (2) and remove shims (3).
Installation:
Grease shift rod pin (4).
Large contact surface of disks (3) must rest against shift rod
joint (2).
Detach locking clip (1).
Remove disk (2).
Remove selector rod (3).
Installation:
Grease shift rod pin ().
