AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COOLER LINE CHAFING ON HORN ASSEMBLY
MODELS AFFECTED:
1985 CENTURYS EQUIPPED WITH 2.5L ENGINES (VIN CODE R)
Some of the above vehicles may have the transmission cooler line (rubber hose) rubbing on the rear horn assembly at the front left hand side of the
engine compartment.
This can be corrected by bending the metal portion of the cooler line, above the rubber hose, inboard away from the horn to maintain a minimum
clearance of 1/2 inch.
The cooler line hose should be inspected for abrasion and replaced if necessary.
