1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column filler panel as follows:
a. Remove ALDL connector attaching screws, then lower ALDL connector.
b. Remove filler panel attaching screws, then lap vent hose.
c. Remove filler panel by swinging down and pulling out.
3. Remove left trim plate as follows:
a. Remove steering column opening filler attaching screws, then opening filler.
b. Remove ashtray, then trim plate attaching screws, Fig. 7.
c. Pull trim panel straight forward to release two retaining clips in center of panel, then remove panel.
4. Remove right cluster trim plate attaching screws, then trim plate.
5. Remove radio assembly attaching screws, then pull out radio.
6. Disconnect all electrical connectors from radio, then remove radio.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
