Brake Light Switch: Description and Operation
Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid Circuit
The TCC brake switch informs the PCM of braking conditions. During such conditions the PCM deactivates the TCC solenoid to allow hydraulic
coupling between engine and transaxle to resume.
