Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Rear Axle
REAR HUB AND/OR BEARINGS
1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly and brake drum. Do not hammer on brake drum since damage to
bearing may result.
2.
Remove hub and bearing assembly attaching bolts, then hub and bearing assembly. Do not support brake assembly by brake line.
3.
Reverse procedure to install, torquing bolts/nuts to specifications.
