SUBJECT:
LIGHTED VANITY MIRROR WIRE PINCHED BETWEEN INNER AND OUTER ROOF PANELS
MODELS AFFECTED: 1987 CENTURYS
Condition:
The wire to the lighted visor vanity mirror may have excess length, which may be trapped between the inner and outer roof panels (see illustration). The
trapped wire may then be pinched or cut by the visor mounting screws. This then blows the 20 amp courtesy fuse.
Correction:
1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
