To prevent this condition from occurring on your vehicle, your Buick Dealer will install new improved fan relays. This service will be performed at no
charge to you.
Instructions for making this correction have been sent to your Buick dealer. Parts will be available approximately August 15, 1983. Please contact your
dealer after this date to arrange a service date to have your vehicle corrected. The labor time to install the new relays on air conditioned vehicles and
vehicles equipped with heater and heavy duty cooling is approximately forty minutes. The work will take approximately twenty minutes on vehicles
without air conditioning. Please allow additional time for the dealer to process your vehicle.
The enclosed owner reply card identifies your vehicle. Presentation of this card to your dealer will assist in making the necessary correction in the
shortest possible time. If you have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid owner reply card and returning it to us.
