WINDNOISE AT REAR OF FRONT DOOR FRAME (SEAL GLASS RUN CHANNEL TO DOOR FRAME)
MODELS AFFECTED: 1990 CENTURY
Some early 1990 Centurys may exhibit windnoise conditions at the rear upper corner of the front door frame. The condition may be due to the glass run
channel not being sealed to the door frame at the upper seat belt attaching point, and may be repaired by using the following procedure:
1.
Lower door glass to full down position.
2.
Using a heat gun, lightly heat the outer portion of the seat belt upper attachment cover. Heat will reduce the possibility of retainer pin breakage
during removal.

Remove the outer cover by pulling forward (See Figure 1).
