7.1.
Tighten the nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
7.2.
Use the J 36660-A to rotate the nuts an additional 75°.
8. Pry the connecting rod back and forth in order to check for binding. If necessary, loosen and then retighten the connecting rod cap nuts.
9. Measure the connecting rod side clearance.
10. Install the crankshaft oil deflector.
11. Install the crankshaft oil deflector nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
12. Install the oil pump driveshaft and the oil pump.
13. Install the oil pump bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
