Exhaust Hanger Mounting Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Notice: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice in Service Precautions.
Support the exhaust system.
3. Remove the exhaust pipe rear hanger insulators from the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket.
4. Loosen the outboard rear bumper impact bar bolt.
5. Remove the inboard rear bumper impact bar bolt.
6. Remove the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the exhaust muffler rear hanger bracket.
2. Notice: Install the inboard and the outboard rear bumper impact bar bolts.
